Who We Are
This site is an independent guide to Spin Palace Casino (trading as Spin Casino since 2019) written for players in New Zealand.
We are a small editorial group working as the Gaming Review Team. One person signs every page: Katie Evans, our Casino Expert. The people in the other roles below work behind her byline, so we list the role, not a name.
Nobody here works for the casino, its operator Baytree (Alderney) Limited or its parent group, Super Group. We earn money through affiliate links, which we explain further down, and that is the only commercial link between us.
Casino Expert · Gaming Review Team
Writes and signs the review and every section page. Katie owns the final wording, decides whether a reported error is confirmed, and approves each entry in the correction log.
Fact-checker
Editorial role · Gaming Review Team
Compares each figure on the page with a primary source: the licence register, the casino's own terms, promotions and payment pages. Anything that cannot be traced to a source is flagged before publication.
Payments reviewer
Editorial role · Gaming Review Team
Keeps the banking section honest: which methods are on the cashier for NZ$ accounts, minimum deposits, and published withdrawal times.
Standards editor
Editorial role · Gaming Review Team
Reads every correction before it goes live, checks that the log entry matches the change on the page, and makes sure responsible-gambling information stays current.
How We Verify Facts
Offers get re-cut, payment providers come and go, and a licence valid five years ago may since have been handed back. So we treat every number on the page as something that needs a source, and we re-check the whole review on a schedule rather than waiting for complaints.
- 1
Primary source first
Licensing is checked on the regulator's own register. For Spin Palace that means the Alderney Gambling Control Commission list, where Baytree (Alderney) Limited holds eGambling licence 155 C1.
- 2
The casino's own terms
Bonus amounts, wagering (35x), the 7-day claim window and the NZ$10 minimum deposit are taken from the official bonus terms and promotions pages, not from other review sites.
- 3
Second source for the rest
Where the casino does not publish a figure, such as the size of the game library, we need two independent sources that agree. If they disagree, we describe it in words rather than print a number.
- 4
Date stamp
Every page carries a "Checked" date in the byline. That date moves only after a full re-check, not after a cosmetic edit.
Good to know
There is no New Zealand online casino licence yet. The Department of Internal Affairs is setting up the regime under the Online Casino Gambling Act 2026, and until licences are issued we describe the offshore licence plainly. Fairness testing is covered separately: Spin Palace carries the eCOGRA seal. Our fact-checking page lists the sources we use in more detail.
How We Fix Errors
When something on the site turns out to be wrong, we correct it in the open. We don't quietly swap a figure and move on. The steps are the same whether we spotted the problem ourselves or a reader told us about it.
What counts as an error
A factual statement that the primary source contradicts: a wrong licence, a bonus that no longer exists, a payment method that isn't on the NZ$ cashier, a processing time that doesn't match the published one. Typos and layout fixes are not logged. Opinions, such as whether we like a particular pokie, are not errors.
What we do once it is confirmed
- Fix the wrong statement everywhere it appears: body text, tables, FAQ answers and the structured data search engines read.
- Add a row to the correction log below with the date, the old wording, the new wording and the source we checked.
- Re-read the surrounding paragraph so the fix doesn't leave a contradiction next to it.
- Update the "Updated" date in the byline, and the "Checked" date if the whole page was re-verified.
We never delete an entry from the log once it is published. If a correction itself proves wrong, we add a new row rather than rewriting the old one.
Review Criteria and Weights
Our overall view of Spin Palace Casino is built from seven criteria. The weights show how much each one counts, and they also set how urgently we fix a mistake: an error about safety matters more to you than an error about the lobby layout.
| Criterion | Weight | What we look at | Correction priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| Licensing & safety | 25% | Licence holder and number on the regulator's register, fairness testing, account security | Same day |
| Payments & withdrawal speed | 20% | Methods on the NZ$ cashier, minimum deposit, published processing times | Within 48 hours |
| Bonus fairness | 15% | Offer structure, wagering, claim window, game contributions | Within 48 hours |
| Games | 15% | Library size, providers, pokies, live and table games | Next scheduled review |
| Responsible gambling | 10% | Deposit limits, time-outs, self-exclusion, NZ help services | Same day |
| Customer support | 10% | Channels, hours (24/7 live chat and email), quality of answers | Within a week |
| Mobile | 5% | Browser play on iOS and Android, app availability | Next scheduled review |
| Total | 100% |

Responsible gambling carries a smaller weight than payments, yet it shares the top correction priority. A wrong helpline number or an outdated self-exclusion step can hurt someone, so it never waits for the next review cycle.
Affiliate Disclosure
This site is funded by affiliate commission. When you open an account at Spin Palace Casino through one of our buttons, the casino may pay us. It costs you nothing, and the welcome offer you get is the same one listed on the casino's promotions page: up to NZ$1,000 across your first three deposits.
Being paid by the brand we write about is exactly why a corrections policy matters. It is the proof that facts on this page follow the sources, not the commission.
What the commission does
- Pays for research time and the upkeep of this site
- Lets us keep the guide free to read, with no paywall
- Explains why our buttons open the casino in a new tab
What it never does
- Change a criterion's weight or a published fact
- Give the casino a preview or a veto over our pages
- Delay a correction, even when it makes an offer look smaller
Correction Log: What We Said, What It Says Now
These are real corrections made to our Spin Palace Casino homepage during the full re-check on 21 September 2026. In each case the mistake was ours: we had carried over older or generic wording that no longer matched the casino's current terms. The corrected versions are, if anything, better news for players.

None of these fixes lowered our view of the casino, and each was confirmed on the operator's or regulator's own pages. For the practical side of cashing out, see our withdrawal guide.
How to Report an Error
Spotted something that doesn't match what you see in the Spin Palace lobby or cashier? We want to hear about it. Reports go to the editorial team, the same people listed at the top of this page, and every one is checked against a primary source before anything changes. You'll find how to reach the team on our About page, and the sources we test against on the fact-checking page.
A good report saves a round of back-and-forth. Please include:
- The page address and the exact sentence or table row
- What you believe the correct fact is
- Where you saw it: a terms page, the cashier, a support reply
- The date you checked, since offers change often
- Whether you play from New Zealand, as some terms differ by country
- A screenshot if you have one, with personal details covered
Account problems go to the casino
We can fix what our pages say, but we can't see or change your Spin Palace account. For a deposit, a bonus or a withdrawal in progress, the casino's 24/7 live chat is the fastest route. If you'd like a break from play, our guide to closing your account walks through the options.
Corrections FAQ
Why does a review site need a corrections policy?
Casino terms change often: bonus structures, payment methods and even licences move over time. A corrections policy commits us to fixing outdated or wrong facts quickly and to showing readers what changed, instead of editing silently.
Does Spin Palace Casino see or approve our corrections?
No. We are an independent, affiliate-funded guide. The casino does not review our pages before or after publication, and a correction is made because a primary source shows we were wrong, not because anyone asked us to change a score.
Do corrections change the review score?
Only when the corrected fact belongs to a weighted criterion and the new fact is materially better or worse. Most fixes, such as updated wording of an offer, leave the score where it was. When a score does move, we say so in the correction log.
How quickly is an error fixed?
Licensing and safety errors are fixed the same day they are confirmed. Payment and bonus errors are fixed within 48 hours. Less critical details are corrected at the next scheduled review of the page.
Checked Facts, Same Welcome
Every figure in the offer panel was re-verified during our last correction round, so what you read here is what the Spin Palace cashier shows.
